Academic integrity and institutional quality within higher education face severe threats from prevalent academic dishonesty. This quantitative study employing an explanatory design involves 72 subjects to investigate the impact of attitudinal orientation, subjective normative pressure, and perceived behavioral control on the propensity for cheating behavior, grounded in the framework of the Theory of Planned Behavior. All data were gathered via questionnaire instruments and evaluated through the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 application. Empirical findings confirm that all predictors contribute positively and significantly to the intensity of rule-breaking intentions, both individually and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination, represented by an Adjusted R Square value of 0.859, implies that 85.9% of the variance in academic cheating intentions is explained by this model, while the remaining 14.1% is governed by other variables beyond the scope of the research
