PENGARUH TEKNOLOGI TERHADAP KUALITAS MASYARAKAT MODERN

Abstrak

Perkembangan teknologi  memberikan dampak yang sangat besar bagi masyarakat modern, dengan potensi manfaat dan dampak negatifnya. Studi ini mengidentifikasi lima aspek dampak teknologi:  pendidikan, pekerjaan, hubungan sosial, lingkungan dan kesehatan dalam masyarakat modern. Melalui metode  kuantitatif dan studi pustaka, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden meyakini bahwa teknologi meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat modern, terutama dalam hal akses terhadap informasi, komunikasi, dan peluang ekonomi. Namun, ada juga kekhawatiran mengenai isolasi sosial, kecanduan, dan penggunaan teknologi secara berlebihan. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan yang bijaksana dan beretika dalam penggunaan teknologi sangat penting untuk memaksimalkan manfaatnya sekaligus meminimalkan dampak negatifnya.

Technology, impact, and modern society Technological development has a huge impact on modern society, with potential benefits and negative impacts. This study identifies five aspects of technology's impact: education, employment, social relations, the environment, and health in modern society. Through quantitative methods and desk research, the results show that the majority of respondents believe that technology improves the quality of life in modern society, especially in terms of access to information, communication, and economic opportunities. However, there are also concerns about social isolation, addiction, and overuse of technology. Therefore, wise and ethical management of technology use is essential to maximize its benefits while minimizing its negative impacts.
