Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of employee engagement on employee performance at PT Kawasan Industri Medan. The hypothesis put forward in this study is the effect of employee engagement on employee performance at PT Kawasan Industri Medan. In this study the sampling technique used was the total sampling method, namely the sampling technique where the number of samples is equal to the population. The method in this research is to use a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression research design. The independent variable (X) is employee engagement and the dependent variable (Y) is employee performance. The employee engagement scale was compiled based on the form proposed by Schaufeli & Bakker in 2004 and aspects of employee performance using the performance appraisal form owned by PT Kawasan Industri Medan in 2021. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the coefficient of determination (R Square) = 0.175 (17.5 %) this means that there is an influence between employee engagement on the performance of employees of PT Kawasan Industri Medan.
