This study aims to determine the relationship between adjustment and academic stress in participating in post-pandemic face-to-face learning in students at HKBP Nommensen University. The hypothesis proposed in this study states that there is a relationship between adjustment and academic stress in participating in post-pandemic face-to-face learning in students in HKBP Nommensen University, assuming the higher the adjustment, the lower the level of academic stress and vice versa the lower the adjustment the higher the level of stress academic. The subjects of this study amounted to 420 students who participated in face-to-face learning after the pandemic, with Non-probability Sampling sampling techniques with Purposive Sampling. Data analysis was performed using Spearman's Rank Correlation analysis with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 20 For Windows software. The results of data analysis showed that r = 0.161 and p = 0.000 (sig < 0.05) showed a relationship between self-adjustment and academic stress. From these results, it is concluded that the hypothesis of this study is accepted which states that there is a relationship between adjustment and academic stress in participating in post-pandemic face-to-face learning in students at HKBP Nommensen University.
