ANALISIS ACTOR NETWORK THEORY (ANT) DALAM PENGGUNAAN ELECTRONIC TRAFFIC LAW ENFORCEMENT (ETLE) UNTUK PENEGAKAN LALU LINTAS

Abstrak

Penelitian yang dilakukan berikut ini menganalisis penggunaan Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) dalam penegakan hukum lalu lintas dengan pendekatan Actor Network Theory (ANT). Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana teknologi ETLE berinteraksi dengan berbagai aktor, baik manusia maupun non-manusia, dalam sistem penegakan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara aktor-aktor tersebut dan mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi ETLE. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis wawancara serta studi literatur dengan pihak terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ETLE tidak hanya mempengaruhi pengawasan lalu lintas, tetapi juga membentuk hubungan kompleks antara polisi, masyarakat, dan teknologi. Kesimpulannya, ANT memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang peran aktor non-manusia dalam penegakan lalu lintas melalui ETLE.

The following research analyzes the use of Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) in traffic law enforcement with an Actor Network Theory (ANT) approach. The background of this research is to understand how ETLE technology interacts with various actors, both human and non-human, within the traffic enforcement system. The aim of this research is to explore the relationships between these actors and identify the factors that influence the success of ETLE implementation. The research method employs a qualitative approach with interview analysis and literature study involving relevant parties. The results show that ETLE not only influences traffic surveillance but also creates a complex relationship between the police, the public, and technology. In conclusion, ANT provides a profound understanding of the role of non-human actors in traffic enforcement through ETLE.
