ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN GERONTIK PADA NY. N DENGAN RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS MELALUI PENERAPAN TERAPI KOMPRES HANGAT KAYU MANIS TERHADAP PENURUNAN SKALA NYERI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SEI LANGKAI

Abstrak

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) adalah suatu kelainan inflamasi terutama mengenai membrane synovial dari persendian dan umumnya ditandai dengan nyeri persendian, kaku sendi, penurunan mobilitas. Penderita Rheumatoid Arhtritis pada tahun 2023 di puskesmas sei langkai sebanyak 426 kasus. Karya Tulis Ilmiah Profesi ini bertujuan untuk melakukan Asuhan Keperawatan Gerontik pada Ny. N dengan pemberian terapi Non Farmakologi Kompres Hangat Kayu Manis terhadap penurunan skala nyeri Rheumatoid Arthritis di wilayah kerja puskesmas sei langkai tahun 2024. Metode studi kasus yang dilakukan berdasarkan tahap-tahap asuhan keperawatan meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa, intervensi, implementasi, evaluasi keperawatan. Hasil karya tulis ilmiah profesi ini didapatkan pengkajian klien mengeluh nyeri di pergelangan kaki dan lutut kiri, aktivitas terganggu, dan kurangnya pengetahuan dengan 3 diagnosa keperawatan yaitu nyeri akut berhubungan dengan agen pencedera fisiologi, gangguan mobilitas fisik berhubungan dengan nyeri, defisit pengetahuan berhubungan dengan kurang terpapar informasi, dan implementasi dilakukan selama 9 hari dan diperoleh evaluasi keperawatan pada Ny. N bahwa nyeri sudah berkurang, skala nyeri 3, aktivitas sudah bisa dilakukan sendiri, defisit pengetahuan meningkat. Saran bagi penderita rheumatoid arthritis melakukan terapi nonfarmakologi kompres hangat kayu manis agar mampu mengurangi skala nyeri Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an inflammatory disorder mainly affecting the synovial membrane of the joints and is generally characterized by joint pain, joint stiffness, decreased mobility. Rheumatoid Arthritis sufferers in 2023 at the Sei Langkai Health Center were 426 cases. This Professional Scientific Paper aims to provide Gerontic Nursing Care to Mrs. N by providing Non-Pharmacological Warm Cinnamon Compress therapy to reduce the scale of Rheumatoid Arthritis pain in the Sei Langkai Health Center work area in 2024. The case study method used is based on the stages of nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, nursing evaluation. The results of this professional scientific paper obtained an assessment of clients complaining of pain in the left ankle and knee, impaired activity, and lack of knowledge with 3 nursing diagnoses, namely acute pain related to physiological injury agents, impaired physical mobility related to pain, knowledge deficit related to lack of exposure to information, and implementation was carried out for 9 days and obtained a nursing evaluation of Mrs. N that the pain has decreased, pain scale 3, activities can be done independently, knowledge deficit increases. Suggestions for rheumatoid arthritis sufferers to do non-pharmacological therapy with warm cinnamon compresses to reduce the scale of Rheumatoid Arthritis pain.
