ANALISIS SEMANTIK SURAT AL-FIL: PERAN PEMAHAMAN MUFRODAT TERHADAP KEMUDAHAN MENGHAFAL AYAT KISAH PADA SANTRI RIYADHUS SHALIHIN INDRAGIRI HULU

Abstrak

Conventional memorization of the Qur'an without understanding the verses' meaning often triggers boredom and weakens memory retention. This study aims to examine the role of semantic analysis, specifically the understanding of mufrodat (vocabulary), in facilitating and accelerating the memorization of narrative verses in Surah Al-Fil. The approach used is qualitative with a case study design. Data were collected through observations and in-depth interviews with 20 santri at Pondok Pesantren Riyadhus Shalihin, Indragiri Hulu. The results showed that mastering key mufrodat (such as abābīl and sijjīl) serves as a cognitive trigger that enables santri to visualize the storyline logically. This semantic mapping has proven effective in eliminating boredom, minimizing verse confusion, and significantly accelerating the ziyadah (memorization addition) process. In conclusion, the integration of Arabic linguistics through vocabulary analysis prior to memorization is a crucial method to accelerate and strengthen the quality of memorization (mutqin) in narrative Qur'anic texts.
