This research discusses pedagogical competence, which is one of the competencies that must be possessed by teachers. Pedagogical competence itself is the key to successful learning. In connection with the change of curriculum, it also affects how the successful implementation of the independent curriculum will be carried out. Curriculum renewal is a challenge that is faced. The results of the research need to be an understanding and habituation of the independent curriculum. This research uses descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study included the principal, grade I teacher and grade IV teacher. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity test in this study used source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The result of this competence is that the teacher's pedagogical competence in implementing Merdeka Curriculum learning at SD Negeri 3 Pliken is quite good. Teachers can understand the characteristics of students, are able to master learning theories and educational learning principles, carry out curriculum development, carry out educational learning activities, develop students' potential and carry out assessment and evaluation.
