PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS X MELALUI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBASIS GOOGLE SITES

This classroom action research was motivated by the low learning motivation of students in mathematics, as indicated by limited participation and minimal initiative in class activities. The study aimed to improve students' motivation through interactive learning media based on Google Sites. The research was conducted in two cycles involving 35 students of class X-4 at SMAN Model Terpadu Madani. Data were collected using questionnaires, observation sheets, and reflection notes. The learning process integrated Google Sites containing structured materials, videos, quizzes, and interactive features. The results showed that students’ motivation increased from 43.0% in the pre-cycle to 66.88% in the first cycle and reached 80.25% in the second cycle. This improvement was reflected in greater student activity, such as asking questions, completing tasks, and participating in discussions. It can be concluded that the use of Google Sites as an interactive digital learning medium effectively enhances students’ motivation in learning mathematics.
