PENGARUH MODEL GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN JASMANI DAN OLAHRAGA SISWA KELAS V SDN 1304 MOMPANG

Abstrak

This research is based on the low learning outcomes of Physical Education (PJOK) in the topic of racket hitting skills. This is due to the learning model applied during the learning process, which is still conventional. Learning activities tend to be boring and the learning process is still student-centered. This study uses a group investigation learning model that emphasizes student-centered learning. Students conduct investigations in groups to seek information about the subject matter. This study used a one-group pretest-posttest design with a sample of 20 students at SDN 1304 Mompang. The research data were analyzed using inferential statistics to determine the appropriate hypothesis. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing, the results were 0.000 <0.05 for the knowledge test and 0.000 <0.05 for the skills test. Therefore, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the group investigation model significantly impacted the physical education (PJOK) learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1304 Mompang on hitting skills using a racket.

Penelitian ini didasari oleh hasil belajar PJOK pada materi keterampilan memukul menggunakan raket masih rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh model pembelajaran yang diterapkan pada saat pembelajara masih bersifat konvensional. Kegiatan pembelajaran yang cenderung membosankan dan proses pembelajarannya masih berpusat kepada siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran group investigation yang menekankan pada pembelajaran yang berpusat kepada siswa. Di mana siswa melakukan investigasi secara berkelompok untuk mencari informasi mengenai materi pelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian one group pretest postest design dengan sampel yaitu 20 siswa di SDN 1304 Mompang. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan statistik inferensial untuk menentukan hipotesis yang tepat. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh hasil yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 pada tes pengetahuan dan 0,000 < 0,05 pada tes keterampilan sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan model group investigation terhadap hasil belajar PJOK siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 1304 Mompang pada materi tentang keterampilan memukul menggunakan raket.
