PERAN PUBLIC RELATIONS DALAM MENINGKATKAN REPUTASI DI BADAN KESATUAN BANGSA DAN POLITIK KOTA BANDUNG

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengetahui peran public relations dalam meningkatkan reputasi di Bakesbangpol Kota Bandung (2) untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat public relations dalam meningkatkan reputasi di Bakesbangpol Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa peran public relations dalam meningkatkan reputasi di Bakesbangpol Kota Bandung berperan penting dalam membangun dan memelihara komunikasi yang efektif antara Kesbangpol dan masyarakat. Hal tersebut terwujud melalui penyusunan dan pelaksanaan yang terencana, penyampaian informasi yang akurat dan trasparan. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan public relations meliputi hubungan bakesbangpol antara media cukup baik, faktor penghambat yang diidentifikasi antara lain keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan kurangnya koordinasi sesama pegawai public relations. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran public relations dalam meningkatkan reputasi di Bakesbangpol Kota Bandung sudah mencangkup: kredibilitas, terpercaya, keterandalan, dan tanggung jawab.
The objectives of this study are: (1) to find out the role of public relations in improving reputation in the Bandung City Bakesbangpol (2) to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of public relations in improving the reputation in the Bandung City Bakesbangpol. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the role of public relations in improving the reputation of the Bandung City Bakesbangpol plays an important role in building and maintaining effective communication between the Kesbangpol and the community. This is realized through planned preparation and implementation, accurate and transparent information delivery. Factors supporting the success of public relations include the good relationship between the media and the media, the inhibiting factors identified include limited human resources and lack of coordination among fellow public relations employees. This study concludes that the role of public relations in improving the reputation of the Bandung City Bakesbangpol already includes: credibility, trustworthiness, reliability, and responsibility.
