Abstrak

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai penerapan konsep Lean Management dalam alur procurement pada PT. XYZ dengan tujuan meningkatkan alur proses pengadaan barang atau material diharapkan menciptakan cost efficiency. Metode Lean Management menekankan minimalisir waste, peningkatan nilai tambah (value added activity), dan rekomendasi yang sustainable. Alat utama yang menjadi tumpuan adalah Value Stream Mapping (VSM) untuk mengidentifikasi aktivitas bernilai tambah (Value Added Activity / VA), aktivitas yang tidak bernilai tambah (Non – Value Added Activity / NVA), dan aktivitas yang tidak bernilai tambah tetapi perlu dilakukan (Non – Value Added Activity but Necessary / NNVA). Hasil analisis di dominasi aktivitas yang tidak bernilai tambah (NVA) yang menyebabkan ketidakefisienan seperti excess processing, waiting, dan motion. Dalam mengatasi hal tersebut, direkomendasikan implementasi transformasi digital terintegrasi seperti e-approval, procurement tracking system, dan penggunaan teknologi seperti AI (Artificial Intelligence) dan IoT (Internet of Things) untuk meningkatkan kecepatan, akurasi, dan transparansi dalam alur procurement dalam pengambilan keputusan. Studi ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi model konseptual praktis yang dapat menjadi pedoman bagi perusahaan maupun pemangku pengambil keputusan dalam memperbaiki alur procurement agar lebih efisien, responsif terhadap kebutuhan bisnis, dan sesuai dengan tujuan perusahaan.

This research discusses the application of the Lean Management concept in the procurement process at PT. XYZ, with the aim of improving the flow of goods or material procurement processes and creating cost efficiency. The Lean Management method emphasizes minimizing waste, increasing value-added activities, and sustainable recommendations. The main tool used as a focus is Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify value-added activities (VA), non-value-added activities (NVA), and non-value-added activities but necessary (NNVA). The analysis results are dominated by non-value-added activities (NVA), leading to inefficiencies such as excess processing, waiting, and motion. To address this, it is recommended to implement integrated digital transformation such as e-approval, procurement tracking systems, and the use of technologies like AI (Artificial Intelligence) and IoT (Internet of Things) to improve the speed, accuracy, and transparency of the procurement process in decision-making. This study is expected to contribute a practical conceptual model that can serve as a guide for companies and decision-makers in improving the procurement flow to be more efficient, responsive to business needs, and aligned with company goals.
