PENGARUH PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS PROSES PEMBELAJARAN DARING PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS EKONOMI UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MEDAN

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) terhadap efektivitas proses pembelajaran daring pada mahasiswa Fakutas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Medan. Di era digital saat ini, TIK memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung keberlangsungan kegiatan akademik, terutama sejek diberlakukannya pembelajaran jarak jauh akibat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan TIK berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran daring, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,002 (<0,05) dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,478. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,189 menunjukkan bahwa 18,9% variasi efektivitas pembelajaran daring dijelaskan oleh pemanfaatan TIK, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti motivasi belajar, dukungan dosen, dan ketersediaan infrastruktur digital. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin optimal mahasiswa memanfaatkan teknologi, semakin efektif pula proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguasaan dan pemanfaatan TIK dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital.

This study aims to determine the effect of information and communication technology (ICT) utilization on the effectiveness of online learning processes among students at the Faculty of Economics, Medan State University. In today's digital era, ICT plays an important role in supporting the continuity of academic activities, especially since the implementation of distance learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a quantitative method with data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires to students of the Faculty of Economics, Medan State University. The results showed that the use of ICT had a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of online learning, with a significance value of 0.002 (<0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.478. The coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.189 indicates that 18.9% of the variation in the effectiveness of online learning is explained by the use of ICT, while the rest is influenced by other factors such as learning motivation, lecturer support, and the availability of digital infrastructure. These results indicate that the more optimally students utilize technology, the more effective the learning process will be. This study emphasizes the importance of ICT mastery and utilization in improving the quality of learning in the digital era.
