HUBUNGAN DOMAIN PERILAKU DENGAN HYGIENE SANITASI PADA KANTIN SEKOLAH DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS ALAFAN KECAMATAN ALAFAN KABUPATEN SIMEULUE

Makanan harus memenuhi persyaratan sebagai makanan yang sehat dan bebas dari efek berbahaya. Menurut paradigma kesehatan lingkungan, makanan dan minuman yang terkontaminasi dapat menjadi saluran penyebaran penyakit. Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan hygiene sanitasi di kantin sekolah. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan uji chi-square. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan dengan praktik hygiene sanitasi pada 100 responden dari 37 kantin di wilayah Puskesmas Alafan, Kabupaten Simeulue. Hasil menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara ketiga variabel tersebut dengan praktik hygiene. Ditemukan perilaku tidak higienis seperti tidak memakai sarung tangan, wadah makanan terbuka, dan lingkungan kotor, serta belum adanya standar operasional kebersihan yang konsisten. Disarankan pemerintah membangun kolaborasi untuk program kebersihan, penyuluhan, pengawasan, dan insentif.
Food must satisfy the requirements of being wholesome and free from harmful effects. According to the environmental health paradigm, contaminated food and drink can act as a conduit for the spread of disease. This study examines the application of sanitary hygiene in school canteens. The research method used quantitative analysis with the chi-square test. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and actions with sanitary hygiene practices in 100 respondents from 37 canteens in the Alafan Health Center area, Simeulue Regency. The results showed a significant relationship between the three variables with hygiene practices. Unhygienic behaviors were found such as not wearing gloves, open food containers, and dirty environment, as well as the absence of consistent hygiene operational standards. It is recommended that the government build collaboration for hygiene programs, counseling, supervision, and incentives.
