ABSTRACT
Antenatal Care is a health service provided by health workers for mothers during their pregnancy. Examinations during pregnancy must comply with standards set by the government. When pregnant women do not regularly have pregnancy checks, they will be at risk. The occurrence of pregnancy risk factors that are not detected from the beginning of pregnancy will result in the mother's pregnancy being threatened. Berau Regency in 2020 achieved service coverage for pregnant women on the first visit at 99% and K4 at 76%. This study aimed to describe the achievements of Antenatal Visits According to Standards (K1 K4 K6) for Pregnant Women in the Third Trimester in the Upt Work Area of the Tanjung Batu Community Health Center, Berau Regency. This study used descriptive quantitative methods with a cross-sectional approach, with a population of 107 pregnant women in the third trimester and a sample of 85 pregnant women in the third trimester. The instruments used were primary and secondary data, both questionnaires and the respondent's KIA book. Sampling was based on a purposive sampling technique. The research was carried out inĀ January 2024 in the working area of Tanjung Batu Health Center, Derawan Island District, Berau Regency. The results of this study showed that the achievement of antenatal visits according to K1 and K4 standards was 65.9%, and K6 was 42%. It was related to the characteristics studied, such as accessibility and education, while the parity of pregnant women does not affect the achievement of antenatal visits. This indicates that achievements of K1, K4 and K6 antenatal visits have not reached the target. It is hoped that future researchers can develop research using a case-control design.
